Recent Article Receives Media Attention
Recent BIRC/Neuroscience student Dr. Carlos Faraco, and his research advisor, Dr. Steve Miller, have received significant media attention for their recent article “Lateral temporal hyper-activation as a novel biomarker of Mild Cognitive Impairment, Neuropsychologia, 2013. Drs. Faraco and Miller provide evidence for working memory functioning as a potentially viable way to identify older adults at risk for development of dementia.
